Trump Extends Slim Iowa Lead Over Clinton

DES MOINES, Iowa -- It's still not big, but Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has extended his lead in Iowa, according to a new statewide poll released by Simpson College and RABA Research.

The poll measured five candidates with likely Iowa voters.

Donald Trump (Republican): 44%

Hillary Clinton (Democrat): 41%

Gary Johnson (Libertarian): 5%

Evan McMullin (Independent): 2%

Jill Stein (Green): 2%

Trump has a nine-point advantage over Clinton among men and a 13-point advantage in Iowans who don't have college degrees. Clinton is up two points with women over Trump and has a five-point margin over Trump with Iowans who have college degrees.
