Police Release Images of Bank Robbery Suspect

DES MOINES, Iowa – Des Moines police have released images of a suspect in a Thursday bank robbery and are hoping the public can help identify him.

Police say the Bank of America at 501 E. Army Post Road was robbed around 10:45 a.m.

The suspect, a white male in his late 20s to 30s, was armed with a handgun and passed a note to a bank employee. Police say the man is about five-foot-ten and 180 to 200 pounds.

After the robbery the suspect left the bank heading toward SE 5th Street.
