DES MOINES, Iowa  —  Des Moines Police say mistrust of them by some in the community are allowing killers to continue to walk free.

Activist and musician Will Keeps joined the Channel 13 News at 4pm on Wednesday to talk about the rash of innocent bystanders who’ve been killed or injured in shootings in Des Moines.  In three recent incidents no arrests have been made.  Keeps says citizens need to learn that police are on their side, unlike those who are shooting innocent victims.
