First Ladies Past and Present – What Roles They Play in the Administration

DES MOINES, Iowa  --  With each new president comes a new first lady, who typically plays a large role in the administration.

Stacy Cordery--a professor of history at Iowa State University, bibliographer for the National First Ladies Library, and author of Alice: Alice Roosevelt Longworth, from White House Princess to Washington Power Broker--came to the Channel 13 studio to talk about the actions of past first families and what role the Trumps may play following the inauguration.
