Voter ID Bill Moving Forward for Full Committee Consideration

DES MOINES, Iowa  —  A voter ID bill was approved to move forward at the Statehouse on Monday.

The bill requires all voters to show an ID before casting a ballot. Voters without an ID would be able to get one for free.

A House subcommittee approved the measure on Monday, so it will move on to the full committee for further consideration.
