Pregnant Rescued Horse Doing Well, According to ARL

IOWA  --  The Animal Rescue League of Iowa says a pregnant horse it recently rescued is doing well.

When Sierra arrived at the ARL from an Indianola property, she was severely malnourished. However, the ARL says she's happier now that volunteers removed all of the burrs from her tail.

Sierra's newly-groomed tail can be seen in the picture on the right.
