DES MOINES, Iowa — Drake University is embarking on a big move.

The university’s School of Education is preparing to open up in Collier-Scripps Hall, which is one of the two new buildings open on campus this fall.

The School of Education has been in its current location on the western edge of campus since 1990.

Drake officials say the move will benefit both teachers and students, allowing them to work together with other academic colleges.
