IOWA  —  The Trump administration has tapped an Iowa official to join the USDA.

On Friday evening, Iowa Agricultural Secretary Bill Northey was nominated to join the federal agency as an undersecretary.

Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley tweeted about the news, saying, “The Voice of Ia Ag will now be Voice of American Ag.”
