AMES, Iowa  --  Police officers often come into contact with people suffering from mental illness, and there's a new drive at Iowa State University to make sure those interactions go as well as possible.

The ISU Department of Safety joined the One Mind Campaign, and Iowa State University Police Chief Michael Newton stopped by the Channel 13 studio to discuss the program and how the department hopes it will benefit both the community and officers.
