18-Year-Old Charged After Sending Threatening Messages to WDM Students

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa  --  A Des Moines man is in custody accused of threatening West Des Moines students.

Police arrested 18-year-old Kiren Kelly on Monday. Kelly is accused of sending threatening text messages to students on October 4th. He is not connected to the group of hackers accused of sending similar threats to Johnston students.

Kelly is charged with felony threat of terrorism.
