Parts of Iowa Facing Drought Conditions

IOWA  —  Snow may not sound like the most appealing weather, but it’s needed in Iowa.

The latest drought map shows 38% of the state is considered abnormally dry. Another 15%, the areas in southeast Iowa, are under a moderate drought.

Nationwide, 38% of the country is seeing drought conditions. This is the highest percentage in four years.
