IOWA  --  Not much about 2018 has made it a typical election year.

There's a trade war with China that threatens much more than just the farm economy, and the governor chose a high ranking leader in the Department of Agriculture to become the new secretary; however, four other Republicans are taking him on anyway in the June primary.

One of those men is state senator and farmer Dan Zumbach, from Ryan in northeast Iowa. He joined Political Director Dave Price in the studio to talk about the upcoming election.
