DES MOINES, Iowa  --  A sculpture damaged by a drunk driver last March is finally back where it belongs.

"Spectral Liberation" has stood outside the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden since 1984.  In March 2017 a drunk crashed into the sculpture, severely damaging it.

On Wednesday crews began reconstructing the refurbished piece.  Work is expected to be finished on Thursday.
