DES MOINES, Iowa  --  On April 3rd, 2009 history was made when the Iowa Supreme Court delivered a landmark decision recognizing the rights for same sex Iowans to marry.

Daniel Hoffman-Zinnel joined Sonya Heitshusen to talk about that monumental day and where the gay rights movement has gone since.
