I’m a multimedia producer for WHO-HD. I deal with the content posted to and the station’s social media accounts. I try to make sure our users are having the best experience possible and they’re able to find what they’re looking for easily.

I’m a graduate of Buena Vista University but grew up in northeast Iowa and spent my summers in northern Minnesota. I love spending time outdoors and playing for the Des Moines Women’s Rugby Club.

  • More Cats Rescued from Madrid Animal Hoarding Property

    POLK COUNTY, Iowa – The number of live cats rescued from a horrific case of animal hoarding in rural Madrid continues to climb. The Animal Rescue League of Iowa says since the initial rescue on June 4th, where 79 cats were rescued, 97 more cats from the property have been taken into their care.     DES MOINES, Iowa – A Des Moines motorcyclist is dead following a crash in downtown Des Moines Sunday night. Fifty-year-old Michael Rushing has been identified as the man who died after the accident at the intersection of 6th Avenue and Park Street.     DES MOINES, Iowa – Police in Des Moines are looking into another reported sighting of a mountain lion. According to Sgt. Paul Parizek with the Des Moines Police Department, the report came in from the city’s south side early Friday morning. Police received a call about a possible sighting in the area of 17 E.     JOHNSTON, Iowa – The cause of death for a child who died while under the care of a Johnston woman at an unlicensed daycare has been determined as accidental traumatic asphyxia. Thursday, the Polk County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the cause of death for 17-month-old Tucker Schneider.
