    BROOKLYN, Iowa — Mollie Tibbetts was honored Sunday by hundreds doing something she loved to do – run. The Mollie Tibbetts Memorial run took place at the BGM High School parking lot Sunday morning.  757 people had signed up for the event, and organizers say at least 500 attended.  They ran from the high school down to the end of the blacktop at 385th Street, a distance of about five miles.     DES MOINES, Iowa — An Iowa State Patrol officer had to tase and then arrest a man following a pursuit that turned into an assault on the officer.     DES MOINES, Iowa — The Iowa Department of corrections is asking for information on the whereabouts of an inmate who escaped on Sunday. 39-year-old Vincent Cortez Brown was absent for a head count at the Fort Des Moines Work Release Center. Brown is 5’10” and weighs around 223 pounds. Brown is serving a sentence for second degree murder for the death of Phyllis Davis.   • Man Dies after Webster County Motorcycle Crash

    WEBSTER COUNTY, Iowa — The Iowa State Patrol says a 52-year-old man died after losing control of his motorcycle. A crash report says it happened at 12:16 a.m. Sunday morning on Highway 175, two miles west of Stratford. Monte Dilliner of Stanhope was heading east on his 2002 Kawasaki when he dropped off into the right hand shoulder. His motorcycle rolled over and Dilliner was thrown off of it. Dilliner was pronounced dead at the scene.
