From the people who brought you pole vaulting in the mall, it's high jumping at the grocery store.

The Drake Relays has found another way to make us sit up and take notice.

Erik Kynard came away with the men's title. The Olympic silver medalist got a winning jump of seven feet, six inches.

It’s one inch off the record set by Brian Brown. That's the same Brian Brown who is now the Drake Relays director.

The women's winner is Inika McPherson clearing six feet, three inches.
